Major Outage Hits Facebook, Instagram, and Other Meta Platforms
Social media users around the world were left frustrated on Tuesday as Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta platforms experienced widespread technical difficulties.
Many users reported problems accessing their accounts and refreshing their feeds. The outage also affected Meta’s messaging platform and Threads app.
Independent internet monitor Netblocks confirmed the issue was not due to internet disruptions or filtering in any specific country.
Meta acknowledged the outage and stated they were working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thankfully, the outage was resolved within a few hours.
